GC3 in action

GC3 Publishing Guidance Document for Chemical Data Sharing

In February 2011 the GC3 Chemical Data working group finalized its 55-page report, "Meeting Customer's Needs for Chemical Data: A guidance document for suppliers."  Gathering input from GC3 and other companies, and their suppliers, the working group has developed a manual to advance the data gathering efforts already underway by some fabricators and formulators, as well as efforts by suppliers to provide data to their customers.  The report will be formally released in the coming weeks.

Working Group Seeking Input on Wire & Cable Project

The GC3's Business/Academic Partnerships working group is seeking input from the GC3 on an inventory of plasticizers used in wire and cable.  A small number of plasticizers identified will be selected for screening and assessment of environmental, health, and safety information, and the working group would like to know which plasticizers are of the greatest interest to your company.  Click here to vote on the plasticizers you want evaluated.

February Webinar Recording Available Online

A recording of the GC3's February 1st webinar featuring EPA Office of Pollution Prevention and Toxics (OPPT) Director, Wendy Cleland-Hamnett has been uploaded to the Members Only section of the GC3 website.  GC3 members can access the recording here.  Slides from the presentation are publicly available here.
